The Saint Vincent DePaul Society exists to assist the needy with food, shelter and clothing whenever possible. Parishioners of all ages are welcome to become involved. During the year, SVDP also sponsors numerous activities to help others. There is the Thanksgiving Food Drive, the Advent Giving Tree, the Linen Drive for Saint Vincent Hotel, the Toiletry Drive for Saint Vincent Hotel, the Saint Vincent DePaul Clothing and Household Drive, and the Saint Francis Store Clothing and Household Drive. Members of our Saint Vincent DePaul chapter also serve dinner to the homeless at Saint Vincent Hotel in Dayton the first Friday of each month. There is also a food pantry collection station located in the vestibule of our parish where throughout the year parishioners can bring in non-perishable food items, which are taken to a food pantry to be distributed to those in need.
Interested parishioners are welcome to come to the Saint Vincent DePaul Meetings, which are usually held at Saint Paul Parish the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
