GOD'S GARDEN

Started by St. Paul's parishioners in 1994 to accomplish these goals:

  1. provide fresh produce to local food pantries and increase awareness of the problem of hunger in the Dayton area.
  2. provide an opportunity for parishioners to become better stewards of God's earth.
  3. provide a social setting for parishioners to meet and work together.

From a 30 x 40 foot garden in 1994 the garden has grown to 70 x 80 feet in 1997. In 1996 almost 800 pounds of fresh produce was given away.

All parishioners are welcome to participate. We meet every Monday and Thursday evening at 7 p.m.....from May through September. No gardening experience is necessary. All ages are needed and welcome
