Ministry to the Sick
Through the sacrament of Baptism we celebrate new life; new life in the sense that we each become members of the Body of Christ. We unite our prayers, talents and love so that salvation is begun here on earth.
One way in which we help to share the love of Christ is to minister to the sick. At Mass we gather as a community to give praise to our Lord Jesus Christ by hearing His Word and sharing His Body and Blood. Unfortunately there are those among our community who are unable to attend this Eucharist due to illness. In illness we need to have contact with our community; we need to be reassured that, as a member of the Body of Christ, we have not been forgotten. The role of the Ministry to the Sick is to give comfort and hope to the ill. Those who minister to the sick are the hands of Christ reaching out to someone in need.

The Youth of Saint Paul Parish
The Youth of Saint Paul Parish, parishioners aged 12-18 years of age, are actively involved in supporting the various components of our Parish Faith Formation Process, as well as taking leadership for other parish events. The Youth are involved in planning and coordinating various facets of our Seasonal Parish Celebrations, our Parish Picnic and our Bonfires. They sponsor such events as our yearly Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, and the Saint Paul Parish Float in the Annual Englewood Fine Arts Festival Parade. Our Youth are also active in the other catechetical and social service dimensions of our Parish Life, such as Ongoing Formation, God's Garden of Feedin', and the Saint Vincent DePaul Society. The Youth of Saint Paul Parish meet monthly, the first or second Wednesday of the month, for prayer, formation, planning, and socializing.
Helping Hands/Bereavement
Helping Hands/Bereavement Ministry is a group of Saint Paul Parishioners who volunteer to help in the kitchen or prepare food in their homes for funeral luncheons. One can volunteer to help in the kitchen, prepare food in the home, or both. A volunteer is not called every time there is a funeral. Rather, the frequency of funerals and the size of a given luncheon will determine the frequency with which a volunteer is asked to help.
